What a weird fucking holiday season. Not bad really just weird. This season has foretold many holiday seasons to come I think. C'est la vie, fuck it.
As with every Christmas there's a certain amount of requisite religion involved. I think I'm gonna be a Unitarian when I grow up. Or maybe a
Secular Humanist although I have some conflicts with a few "
affirmations".
That tidal wave is some shit, huh? I just had dinner last week with a family headed to Bangkok on December 30 and to Phuket thereafter. Something tells me their plans have changed. I am tentively (barely tentatively) up for a Bangkok/Australia/UK round the world explosion in early February. Maybe I'll pass on that one. Fucking tsunami.
There's one advantage of
living in Wisconsin no fucking tsunamis. Lake Michigan tsumani? Could happen.

Today I
learned that the ACLU is filing a lawsuit against my high school ("my" not to intended to denote ownership of any kind but simply that which I attended) because the school board decided to defy the US constitution and begin to teach a concept of "intelligent design" (er, CREATIONISM) in ninth grade biology. Huh. Big surprise.
Anyone who has come to visit this small evangelical shitville is immediately thrown by the raw numbers of churches. By some accounts, the "township" in question here contains no less than 50 churches for a population of less of 5000. This not only lets you know that there are some hardcore religious bastards about them there parts but also they like to segregate them into small little enclaves...typically centered around some age old German nuclear family which by now has resulted in numerous six-fingered imbred midget freaks. But I digress...
And to think, everytime I return people actually ask "what's for you up there in that there New York City? Nothing but niggers and queers, ain't?" Yeah, ain't.
As I actually have some dear friends and family still residing amongst the children of the corn, I can't mention names and to give the boys up north some traffic (and lend none to the WORST newspaper in the world published in shitville) read the whole story courtesy of the
Anchorage Daily News.
Cheers.

Greetings from New York City! That's right, HOME SWEET HOME. "What's happening?" people keep asking this question. It's a hard question to answer whilst slobbering one's life away at 35,000 feet. Even harder to answer with any reasonable degree of response time. So anyway, not much happening...although we are having a party at our place on Friday night (12/10)...sex, drugs, rock and roll sort of thing. If you're the adventurous and outgoing type and can figure out where I live, pop on by and I'll buy you a drink or 5. Ask for Steve...
So this blog needs a serious breath of fresh air. It's amazing how traffic slows with no updates. Any ideas? I've got a few ideas actually....we'll see what comes out. In the meantime I've got a lot of images and writing to sort.
Cheers for now.

Pretty insane traveling going on around here. Last two weeks....Thanksgiving, London and now Miami. Unbelievable but nice....for nothing less than the miles. I'm taking my badass one major vacation sometime this winter. Baja I think...California, uber alles...hell, Mexicali uber alles...
What's with the broadband networks in the UK? Shit I say. I had better connectivity in India. I know, I know, India doesn't have all the wired legacy to deal with so it's straight to wireless broadband. $30 per day for shotty hit and miss ETHERNET broadband access in UK hotels is shit.
Anyway, 6:54am here and I've got a flight to catch so peace out for now. I've got to do something with this website soon...soon...
In other exciting news my peeps Johnny Rock and Quiver Kovner have been plugging away at the new JR+Sons demo while I've been gallavanting my ass around the world. Here's a
taste...or visit the
site for more dets.
